On this day in history ... I started a new chapter in my life-Marriage

This was the start of my blog. As I mentioned before, I created this blog so that I could talk about all of the new and different experiences that I would have as a married woman.  I just felt like life would be different. But it wasnt very different at all.  It was and has been lovely.

Our wedding day was lovely. Friday, November 7, 2008 was a warm and sunny day.  Very different for a November day in Baltimore.  We gathered at the Pier 5 Hotel in downtown Baltimore for a lovely wedding ceremony.  Our ceremony was held at 11a so that the reception would be a lunch. It was important to me that we start on time (and we did). My mother officiated the ceremony.  Ron's mother made the flowers. And Cousin Nikki was the wedding coordinator. It was a family affair.  I was so excited to marry the man of my dreams ... and live happily ever after!

FASHION: I wore two dresses for my wedding day.  For the ceremony I had an elegant trumpet style one-piece, duchess satin, strapless, corset back gown. The dazzling Swaroski encrusted bodice highlights the asymmetrical soft pleated waist. Embellishments are delicately sprinkled on the front and back of the skirt.  For the reception, I wore a one-piece, ivory duchess satin gown covered with a layer of organza, strapless sweetheart neckline, corset back, beaded with sequins, bugle beads, seed beads and Swaroski crystals to create a snowflake design on the side. My shoes were from Strawbridges & Clothier (Macys-Philadelphia, PA). For a touch od "something blue" I added blue crystals to the heels and on the buckle.

I talk about my husband, Ronald Hall Jr, often on the blog.  I say alot of nice things about him because he is truly the man that I prayed to God for.  I believe that we are a true match and balance for each other.  We laugh together, we love together and we enjoy each other. Ofcourse there are times when we do not agree but we usually find a way to work through it without any "serious damage" (lol).  We love each other for who we are and the needs of the other are important.

Here are a few pics from our engagement session as well.

FASHION : The dress is from Nordstrom and the shoes are from Macys (Nine West)
