Some catching up to do ... and cute repeats

Yea, so I have some catching up to do.  I really need to be pumping milk, but I'll add a few pics instead :)
Ryan was officially 2 months old :) we celebrated with my Grandma and my Mother.  We went over to my Grandma's house for some family time and food, deelish!

Ryan and I went to the New Mom Class at the hospital where Ryan was born.  I love this class. The instructor is a wealth of knowledge and the ladies are pretty nice (for the most part).  But we all are in the same experience and thats the bond we have at this time. So sometimes, its nice to hear, you arent the only crazy mom, lol.

YUP, its sort of a repeat.. same sweater as the other day and different color from the day before
(YES, I bought two - dont judge me, lol).. and Ryan and I were color coordinated, ha haaa

Well this was the second full day of daycare for Ryan. The first day I cried my eyes out all day.  The second day, I was still really sad, but I ran errands all day to keep my mind occupied.

Ryan was back with Mommy all day.  We had his 2 month doctor visit.  It went great! Ryan is overall a little tyke at 9 lbs and 8 oz, but he is right in line with his own growth when he was 6lbs 8 oz at his first office visit.  So he isnt a big 12 lb whopper - he is still progressing wonderfully.. and Mommy and Daddy are all smiles.

As you can see, Mommy has been doing a little shopping (just a few things here and there from online stores mostly).  Well its almost time to for me to go back to work. I may be able to post more regularly when I get back into that groove. Until later - Im blessed!

As he grows-Two months

Two Months Old
Weight : 9lbs 13 oz
Diaper Size : NB/1
Drinks : 3 - 3.5 oz at each feeding
Wearing : some NB undershirts and 0-3 month sized clothing
Ryan is starting to have a personality. Ryan is such a sweetie. He is truly a happy baby. He mostly cries when he is hungry and a little cranky when he is tired. But other wise, he is very sweet and playful. He smiles all the time and loves to be held. He has started to laugh out loud

Running in the Rain

All who know me, they know that I hate the rain. Well I dont hate the rain itself, i hate having to travel in the rain.  But I guess I really wanted to get out of the house last night because, I actually ran out in the rain to return some items to Lane Bryant.. and to pick up a package from them as well.

This is what I wore while running in the rain

Yeah, duuuh - the pics wont rotate correctly, oh well.. no time for fixing this. You get the idea.
I have on long cardi from Ashley Stewart; tank from LB; and jeans and clogs from JC Penney.

Talk to ya soon everyone! I have to run out again tonight.. Maybe I can make a post tomorrow.  And the outfit might look very similar. I bought two of these long cardis.. arent they so caaauuute!!

Jilly from Philly

Yall know how I do for birthdays... well maybe you dont - but let me say, around here, birthdays are "something like a big deal"

So for Sister and BFF Yolanda's birthday we went to the Jill Scott Concert here in Baltimore.  It was amaaazing, (ofcourse).  We love Jill.. some years back, Londa and I went to a Jill Scott concert in ATL. Who do you know, will plan a trip to ATL (hotel, airfare, rental car, etc) to see Jill, just because the tickets were $20. Joke was on us because the place had no seats - we waited in line for 3 hours and then stood another 3 hours for the show.  OKay, that was a long time ago. This time we had some of the best box seats in the house.. and we sang along like we were on stage with Jill.   Can u say - "true fans"

Both BFF Yolanda and BFF Courtney went to the show.  (Cousin Nikki went to the show too, but I didnt get an outfit pic) We were laughing because we all get to benefit from the others birthday.
They looked cute in these outfits:

Small Tid Bit of Girls Night

Yesterday we celebrated one of my friends birthday with a girls night at BFF Courtney's house. Here is a look at what I wore.

Cardi and tank-LB; jeans and clogs-JCPenney

The girls said I look smaller than my prebaby weight. I'm actually able to wear my prebaby clothes too. My Doct says that I've lost 30lbs since I had Ryan. Pretty good I would say, but I'm not sure that I had much to do with it. It must be the breastfeeding.
