Ripped tags

Im still pulling dresses out of the closet that have never been worn ... yup, I ripped the tags off of this one this morning too.

But I was shocked when I walked out of the house and it was actually "chilly" this morning.. so I grabbed a sweater. Surely, when I leave work, the weather will be a little more appropriate for this dress.

Even still .. I loved it. And it was a great score for only $13!

Yesterday was soooo busy!!
I had a birthday party to take Ryan to in the day and then that evening I had two adult birthday parties. So I had to find an outfit combo that could go from Day to Night with minimal changes

The last of the maxis

Its sad to start to see the end of the summer. Im not really a fan of hot weather, but this summer has been pretty mild when it comes to high temps. I can appreciate that.

Fall and Winter are my kind of weather... coats, boots, hats, scarves.. i love it all!!!

Any reader of my blogs knows that I can wear a "meaaaan" maxi!!
I might be able to get one or two more in before the temps really change.  And surely, when we go on vacay for our anniversary, Ill be able to pack a maxi for the trip.. Aaaahhh! November seems sooo far away, lol. (I know, its right around the corner)

Ravens - Before and After

So the weekend was great!!! I had nothing planned and I did nothing... isnt that awesome?!
After running for the last couple of weeks (months), with packed schedules during the week and the weeeknds... relaxing with nothing planned was really nice!

... AND there was a RAVENS WIN!!!!!! Awesome game.
(NOTE: NO, Im not really a football fan, but I like to support "positive collective thought" ... and its exciting supporting my city's football team - GO RAVENS!!)

I was prepared today to support the team win tonight.
I had a meeting today, so I pulled out the "professional purple", lol.

Circus Theme - The Greatest Show on Earth, First Birthday (Pics Heavy)

Im finally getting a chance to post pics from Ryan's First Birthday Party.
We had a great time. There were still a few things that I wanted to do but in the end, I had to remind myself that this party is for a One Year Old who will have no idea next year that he even had a party.. but we had a good time anyway.

Location and Decor
The party was held at a local Jump House, owned by one of Hubby's friends.
Ofcourse I scoured the internet for the perfect themed items for the party.





Entertainment
Hubby works with another group/artist - Beans and Franks - who offer music and shows for children. Their stuff is great!





And then there was CAKE
Ofcourse we had a custom cake made for the occasion. It was deeelicious!!!!






(we had cupcakes too .. that was easier to play with)

Look what happened this weekend ... the Big Chop

Since Ryan celebrated his first birthday, his Dad has been ready to give his hair the "Big Chop".

It was a funny experience. Ryan didnt have any tears or frustration (other than not liking to get his hair combed before the hair cut, but he pulled through).
