Thanksgiving 2012 - Intro to Christmas

We had an awesome Thanksgiving Day. Ofcourse it was busy - we stopped past Hubby's Mom'shouse and then we went over to my Grandmother's house. Busy day, especially when the little one likes to take a nap from noon to 2p or 3p and sometimes 4p. All that running and no nap, makes for a cranky one year old.

So we managed to get the Christmas Tree up and decorated (partially, but thats all we are getting this year).  I started to snap a few photos for our annual holiday card.

Its like I live for the weekends, but life does happen in between weekends.
At any rate - this weekend, Hubby and I will be celebrating our 4th Wedding Anniversary in lovely Miami, Florida. Just a little getaway, but Im excited (as usual).

Poly always WINS

BFF Court and I went to the annual rival game between our high school Baltimore Polytechnic Institute (POLY) and Baltimore City College (actually a High School - City).  Every year, for the past 124 years, Poly meets City for a football game.  The games used to occur on Thanksgiving Day but that all changed several years ago. Well, and even today - the game still occurs.

It was cold and windy out there this year for the game.  For the last few years BFF Court and I have skipped out on the game and gone to the tailgate which is loads of fun. Annually we get a chance to meet up with old friends - catch up  - and then wait another year to see them again, for more idle chit chat and some drinks.  But we keep going. Its actually a pretty superficial meeting.

So I made a comment to the BFFs while we were in Atlantic City that there are things in my life that make me giggle on the inside. And one of those things is "Arm Candy" So while we were there I decided to buy a few pieces at the outlets.
