40 weeks... and Im past due 2 days!

MONDAY: I had a doctor's appointment and the doct still says that I havent dilated any.  Im so anxious to start the next step in this process, and Im ready to finally hold Baby Hall in my arms.

TUESDAY: I went out walking with my Aunt.  We grabbed some delish lunch at The Cheesecake Factory.  But even after walking for about an hour and 45 minutes, still no delivery.

WEDNESDAY: Im pretty swollen today (feet and hands) so I decided to take it easy. My back isn't feeling to hot either.  So I will try to get some more walking in tomorrow. But for today - I'l take it easy and rest.

Last but not least, I want to send a big HAPPY BIRTHDAY to Cousin Nikki and Cousin Rita.  They were born on the same day.. and I was hoping that Baby Hall would celebrate the same day with them.  Oh well I guess not. But - Happy Birthday to these two great cousins :) Luv ya ladies!

...still counting .. from home

Well, Im not at work today - but Im working.  I'll be working a few days from home until "Prince Charming" decides to make his arrival. 

However, yesterday I was off from work so BFF Court took me out to lunch... mm mm mmmmm!!

 I think I'll go eat some of my leftovers.

39 weeks and still counting

At yesterday's doctor's appointment, still no progress on dilation. So Baby Hall is still taking his time in coming.  But I guess I can wait it out since his actual due date is not until August 15 which is this coming Monday.

Here is what I wore to the doctor's appointment, at 39 weeks - and no dilation.  I did get a walk in last night, to try to get things moving. Im going to try to get a walk in this evening too. We'll see how it goes.

Today  is my last official day at work, although I will most likely complete a few telework days from home until Baby Hall (affectionately called "Prince Charming") makes his arrival.

My aunts and cousin came over to my house yesterday to get me all set up in preparation for Baby Hall. They spent the day cleaning, washing clothes and organizing.  I was overwhelmed with how they really got me all organized.  And they are coming back today for round two!!!  A much appreciated task.

Here is the setup that they made in the living room.  And I got the rocking chair from my mother-inlaw and brother-inlaw! It came in a few days and Im so glad that I got it. Very nice gift.  Im sure that Baby Hall (Ryan) and I will get plenty of use out of this chair.

Im all ready to welcome Baby Hall and any guests, lol.

Yesterday's Afternoon Surprise

I've been feeling a little different since yesterday, so Im wondering if these are signs of labor.. I guess we'll see over the weekend. For today, I have a full day at work. But this evening, Im going to a crabfeast with Mom and Hubby.  Hubby and I are both looking forward to an opportunity to chill and eat some good crabs.  I hope I dont get to swollen from all the salt on the crabs... Im pretty swollen as it is these days.

Yesterday:
My coworkers surprised me with a Baby Shower. It was a really nice gesture.  And Baby Hall got some good gifts - a pack n play was the bigger gift.  We really appreciate their kindness :)

 

Counting

Its a dreary day out, but I wont complain.  Im not really a fan of rain but I know that we need it. Actually, Im fine with rain ... I just want to stay home when it rains ... No such luck here! Im at work bright and early.. counting down the days for Baby Hall's arrival!!!

Yup, an old outfit, but it works well in pregnancy too. 

Hopscotch - Skipped a few days

I jumped around a bit this week.  I kind of skipped taking a few pics. But most of the outfits were repeats anyway. So you already know what I look like in them, lol.

Saturday: Mom and I spent the day together.  We ate lunch and went to visit my cousin's new baby.  Mom asked me to pose from the side and hold my belly. But I think this pic is decieveing, Im not really that big.. its all dress, lol. (ok, maybe I am kind of that big)

Monday: I spent the morning at the docts office. Everything looks good. But with only a fw days more to go, I havent dilated.  I guess Baby Hall knows exactly when he wants to come.  Im going to start a few techniques to see if I can get him moving on down. 

 

Wednesday: Today, well its the middle of the week, and my last few days at work.  My staff is getting nervous with me leaving, but I tried to reassure him that it wont be so bad. And it just looks like alot, he can handle it.  I told him - Just think, I will be starting on a new experience too.  Total unchartered territory.  He has two children, so what advice would he give me?  Its funny that we are both about to embark on a new experience that the other person has experience with... its pretty funny, as I think about it.
