Saturday Evening Post - BBCA - Day 10

The day started with a baby shower for my sorority sister. Its always fun spending time with them because we have so much fun laughing. Its a special blend to have sorority sisters that you actually enjoy their time and each of us is pleased to be in the company of the other. Its a pretty special bond.

I pulled no punches with my pink today. It was bright.. and IN YO FACE!
So, what's in the package .. well I used my $20 CSN gift card to buy a baby bag as my gift to my sorority sister.

The crew was all smiles!

NEXT UP for the day was the Overlea Orangemen Football game.
so I removed the belt and added my Nike sneakers.. and a scarf because the temps usually drop in the evening.

and when we arrived at the game... what did my eyes spy... THE WHOLE TEAM HAD ON PINK SOCKS!!!! aawwwwll... the babies get it too. I was so excited to see that they were committed to something bigger then themselves. A movement, to honor our survivors.. and bring awareness to a cause that can sometimes be over looked.. Well they were on it today!

You can now buy shoes named after me at Target!

I havent decided how I feel about the "Kameel" bootie. But I might take a look at them tomorrow.  Online,Target is sold out of the grey. So I'll have to take a trip to Target tomorrow to see them and try them out.

 Hopefully, I wont end up with to many other things in my cart!

BBCA - Day 9

I absolutely looove this time of year. The mornings are my favorite. The weather is so crisp. You can wear a coat or jacket and add your favorite comfy warm scarf. It just makes you want to get up and get going. When I walk out the door (at 6:40am), I feel refreshed.. to start a new day!

I have a busy weekend ahead. Babyshowers and football games. And I will finally be able to show you what I purchased with my $20 CSN gift card from Leslie at Fashion du jour. Since Leslie was nice enough to pass on her gifts.. I did the same.

Another BFF Birthday (BBCA - Day 7)

Today is BFF Yolanda's Birthday!

She didnt have any big plans for her birthday this year. But she is planning a trip with her social club to Deep Creek Lake. Deep Creek is in Western MD and there are a few different things to do. Their group usually rents a house for the weekend and just chills out. Good laughs ... Good food ... Good company. And if that makes her happy..well it makes me happy too!

We will have some crabs for dinner tonight to celebrate her birthday. Yolanda is the BFF that I call my "voice of reason". She usually says to me what I am thinking and no matter what, she wants the best for me. She helps me see clarity in many situations, and for that I am grateful.

So I was offering my "fashion sense service" to Cousin Nikki's Hubby - Garnet. He is a business owner with an elaborate closet full of expensive and custom dress shirts and suits and golf clothes galore. But when plagued with attending his wife's class reunion, he asked for my advice on what to wear. He needed a casual look, but not to far from what he is used to wearing.
