Preggo Produce - Week 34

So its the start of Week 34 and little Ryan is the size of a cantaloupe this week.
He is really moving around alot these days, especially when its time to eat, lol.

dress-Ross (??)
(I think.  This dress is from last year and I only wore it once because I ripped it. I fixed it this year, so I will get a few wears out of it. I love the way it fits.)

Maternity Preview

Here is a little preview of the maternity pics that we took this weekend.  I actually took them myself. So I need to spend some more time with the editing process.  But I think they came out really nice.

Week 33 - Our little bundle of joy was the size of a pineapple as per babycenter.com. I got Hubby to join in the fun on this Preggo Produce Pic.

I decided to take a few pics with this lovely shirt that I got from Lane Bryant.
I just had to show off my sexy legs, lol!

This is the dress that I will be wearing at our upcoming Baby Shower.  I wanted to take a few pics in the dress so I could do some Thank You cards after the shower.

I think Im gonna add this pic to the nursery.  I have a few others that I liked too that may go into the nursery.

Okay, and I took this one after I tried a few pics "in the buff".  I wasnt to pleased with how the "buff pics" came out,  but I liked the idea of the swim suit.  I love the water and hopefully little Ryan will like the water too.  He looks pretty big in this swimsuit.
Our weeknd was a blast! We spent part of it relaxing and part of it working on another project.  But it was productive and relaxing!

Preggo Produce

I havent posted any preggo produce pics in a few weeks.  One week I couldnt find the produce (a rutabaga.. but I didnt really look hard cuz Grandma said a rutabaga looks like a turnip, and my Grandfather used to eat them all the time.  I just remember them being a little smelly, lol.) And the next week, I definitely couldnt find an English hot house cucumber.. but another website had an alternative.. an eggplant.  I just never found the time (or the right outfit, lol .. ssshhhh!) to take the pic.

But for today, Im ready - clearly at the end of Week 27. But this week, Baby Hall (ManLee) weighs almost 2 pounds (like a head of cauliflower) and is about 14 1/2 inches long with his legs extended.

I dont really have much planned for this weekend.  I really want to complete my baby registry.  Ron has a few events that he wants us to attend - 40th birthday party on saturday and change the locks at the rental property.  Im not sure that I really want to do either. But, I guess I'll be there.  However, he needs to compromise, cuz I want to get that registry done!  I could have completed it long ago, but he wants to have some fun clicking all the things "he thinks he" will need for the baby.  That's fine, I can indulge him, lol!
This week or next week most likely, I want to have a location reserved for my baby shower.  This location and list have slightly caused frustration for some folks in my circle.  But Im not worried at all.  I know that it will be all that I want it to be, so no worries.  I guess the location selection (and reservation) is just not happening fast enough for some on the committee.  But its all good. What one person cant handle.. thats why I have others.  And those folks are more than willing to deal with my sometimes craziness and indecisiveness (although, I happily - although frustrated- put up with craziness and indecisiveness from everyone pretty much all the time, you would think that folks would have some sympathy sometimes, oh well!)

Inspired by The Royal Wedding at 24 weeks!

Well, only slightly. I really wanted to dress up today  or wear a hat (there were some awesome hats at that wedding) .. but instead I went with the color yellow in honor of the queens beautiful suit (I wasnt really feelin the hat.. it wasnt quite my style, lol. But it looked nice on her)

And here is my Preggo Produce pic at 24 weeks. Yup, Im still pretty small. (atleast I think I am, and the scale says that I havent gained any weight).  In any case, Baby Hall is doing well. At my sonogram appt this past monday he weighed in at 1 pound and 5 ounces. I didnt ask the Nurse, but babycenter says at 24 weeks he's almost a foot long (picture an ear of corn).
So yesterday I mentioned that I bought a few things while I was on vacation with the Book Club.  And one of my loyal readers (and sister in greek) asked about the shopping bag in the background of my pic.  Well here it is...
... I got a Coach baby bag from the outlet while we were in Rehobth.  This was my first baby purchase!  Ofcourse I bought this on the first day.. and then the next day we went out shopping and I bought a few things from Gymboree and The Children's Place. So Baby Hall has a few outfits in his closet.  I also got a few things for the other babyshowers that I have coming up (I have 3 baby showers, other than my own, to attend this summer).  So actually, in that bag are the gifts that I bought for the other moms.  Baby Hall's baby bag was actually in his room.. which I am still in the process of cleaning. Whew!! its alot to purge in preparation for a baby!!

Have a great weekend!!

a little late ... Preggo Produce

At 23 Weeks, our baby is "more than 11 inches long and weighs just over a pound (about as much as a large mango), " I know that I am a little late with this Preggo Produce pic, but I figured I would still add it anyway.  I say that its late because, I gain a new week on monday, which means that I'll be taking yet another pic, lol. But since I havent taken a pic in sooo long.. I thought I would add one. Not to mention.. mangos are easy to find, lol!

This weekend, Im spending some time with my mom.  On Saturday, we are going to the Cirque du Soleil show Totem.
And then on Sunday, I will spend time with her for Easter Dinner at my Grandma's house. I plan to stop past and see Ron's mom too on Sunday.  She likes to cook for us on holidays too. This is really going to be interesting when we have to take the little one to two houses also.  But Im sure we will figure it all out!

Preggo Produce

I had a blast over the weekend and I cant wait to tell you all about it.  But first up... We have produce .. Preggo Produce that is!!!  This week little LeeLee is the length of a banana - ,Your baby weighs about 10 1/2 ounces now (actually the baby is 12 oz based on my sonogram on Monday). LeeLee's also around 6 1/2 inches long from head to bottom and about 10 inches from head to heel — the length of a banana. (I guess this part is true, I pulled it directly from babycenter.com)
Now where-oh-where did I get this dress..  I cant even remember, but I have surely worn it before.  You'll have to check back for that info... maybe it came from Macys. who knows??
The necklace, although slightly unseen in these pics, was a gift from one of my bookclub members.
And now (drumroll please) ... to announce the anatomy of LeeLee...
There are so many baby boys in my life right now.
LeeLee will have plenty of family and friends to grow up with and have fun!
... And so the journey begins with my bundle of baby boy.

Preggo Produce

Week 19:
Another week of progress for LeeLee's growth.  This week LeeLee is the size of an heirloom tomato weighing in at 8.5 oz and measures 6 inches from head to rump.  Im sure this is not an heirloom tomato, but it was the largest one I could find in the market. Next week we will find out what the sex of LeeLee really is. Anyone wanna take guesses??? Leave a comment below.

I added a pop of color to this outfit by adding tights and I think it was a perfect addition.  Plus the color matches exactly!

Preggo Produce

Monday made 18 weeks, in the growth of our little LeeLee. The baby should be measuring about 5.5 inches and weigh in at 7 ounces.  Im still not sure that I am getting the right size fruit, cuz the ones that I have carefully selected with care for my preggo produce pics (lol), look a little large to me.. But if they say so.. Im going with it.

Tuesday - work day.
I dont really have a busy week this week at work.  I have a few presentations to work on and I have one or two meetings. But other than that, Im just waiting for the weather to break by the end of the week... here come the 70's!!! wooo-hooo!!!

You are finally able to see my "baby bump" a little.  But its there and growing nice and strong.  I feel like my bump shows more when I wear certain outfits. But everyone at work swears they can see it every day.  I also, think that my bump is camoflauged in my daily pics, but thats because I have gotten good at hiding my regular belly. (lol)

My Birthday with a Turnip

I celebrated my 34th birthday yesterday.. well actually I was blessed enough to be able to celebrate all weekend, doing one thing or another: Friday-Surprise cake with coworkers, Saturday- Lunch with Hubby, Sunday- BFF Court stopped by with a gift (a new blender), Monday- brunch with Mom and Cousin Nikki at Miss Shirley's then dinner with Hubby at Nacho Mommas.  The grand birthday finale happens at the end of the month with a show at the Meyerhoff.

And what's with the turnip you ask.. well, I am 17 weeks pregnant! Yup, go ahead and look back at all those previous posts and see if you can tell. I guess I have been "carrying small" as they say because I cant seem to see preggo in my pics. BUT, I can surely tell in my clothes.  No more regular jeans for me.  And the turnip - well, after some coaxing, I decided to take Preggo Produce Pics.  I was looking at Andie's pics in What Andie Wears and she was telling about Carolee Beckham's blog (they take awesome pics by the way) so I decided to have fun with the produce pics too.  Each week (for me that happens on Mondays), if you have a BabyCenter account (or other similar account) they will tell you the size and weight of your baby and compare it to a produce. At 17 weeks, the baby is 5 ounces big and measures 5 inches from head to rump.

Hubby and I have lovingly decided to call the baby LeeLee. I figured that worked well for a boy or a girl.  Lee was the middle name of my Grandfather and is the middle name of my Mother.
I think that name fits well!
I did not get a chance to buy a new dress for my birthday this year, so I just pulled out one I could find.  This is what I wore to dinner on my birthday night.  It wasnt a fancy locale, so I didnt want to be to dressy.
I like what I came up with.

I was grateful for all the wonderful expressions of love that I got over the weekend.  I was given some awesome cards.. I wish I could read or post them all here. And I was showered with all kinds of birthday wishes on Facebook.  I really had a nice day/weekend!
